Kingsmill announces the dispersal of the Kingsmill herd at the Durham, NC facility.
"We have honored to be able to work with some tremendous cow families here at Kingsmill Farm. We are in the process of redefining our business structure, and as part of that we close chapter 1 of Kingsmill Farm with the dispersal of the Durham, NC, herd. The sale will include fresh cows, flush cows, heifers above 4 months of age, and hopefully a little something for everyone - whether their interest is in cow families, genomics, show type, red and white or black and white genetics."
The sale will include Kingsmill favorites like EX-94 Dele Stormatic Shadaisy and direct offspring of Ashlyn, Tobi, Della, Beauty, Ruby D, Robust, Starbuck Denyse,Outside Roz and freatures two granddaughters of Debutante Rae. Selling as Lot 1 in the sale is Debutante Rae's Red and White "Reality-Red" daughter which tested +2099 GTPI and +3.07 Type. She is a beauty and flushes well also with 12 #1s on her only flush!
The sale also includes heifers from the same genomic giant families of Shamrock, Shameless, Shane, and Snowman.
Finally, we are excited to host 25 outstanding consignments from Butke Dairy Enterprises.
While our initial plan was to have a sale in Pennsylvania on May 13th, once the decision to disperse the herd was made we thought best to host it in the comfort of the cows' home in Durham, NC.
